Public transport in Belarus comprises a network of buses, trams and trolleybuses, as well as subways and taxis. Public transport is available for everyone to use. Nearly every town in the country has a public bus service.

Many people complain that city buses emit harmful gases into the atmosphere, and that public transport services are slow. But just imagine if every public transport passenger were sitting behind the wheel of a car: pollution would be even worse, and traffic would move at an even slower pace.
